With over $10.0 billion of transaction experience across hundreds of
deals in an array of industry verticals, Dan is experienced on all
sides of the transaction table, including spending nearly two
decades advising prominent Midwest families, corporations, and
private equity firms in respect to critical investment decisions.
Dan’s career was rooted at an early age in his own family’s company
which provided valuable experience in succession planning and
navigating the sale of a family-owned company.
Prior to co-founding CTCP, Dan was the President and CEO of a
large Midwest single family investment office responsible for direct
investment in operating companies and real estate, corporate
strategy planning, portfolio management, and wealth / estate
advisory.
Previously Dan worked as the Global Head of Corporate Development
and Special Projects for the Kohler family and Kohler Co. which is
an $8.0 billion+ privately held, family managed diversified holding
company.
Dan received his M.B.A. from UWM Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business
and his B.S. in Finance and Economics from the University of
Wisconsin – La Crosse.

With diverse technical and business experiences spanning corporate
leadership and private equity, Mike has overseen all aspects of the
M&A process for domestic and international transactions of varying
sizes and ownership structures.
Prior to co-founding CTCP, Mike was a Director at Mason Wells, a
Milwaukee-based private equity firm with over $2.0 billion in assets
under management. Mike was responsible for investment and portfolio
development activities including initiating investment
opportunities, structuring and negotiating transactions, and serving
on the Board of Directors of portfolio companies.
Before his career in private equity, Mike served as the head of
Corporate Development at Rockwell Automation, Inc., an $9.0 billion
public corporation, where he was responsible for the origination,
analysis, due diligence, and execution of domestic and international
acquisitions.
Mike received a M.B.A. and M.S. in Engineering from the University
of Wisconsin-Madison and his B.S. in Engineering from the Milwaukee
School of Engineering (“MSOE”).
