With over $10.0 billion of transaction experience across hundreds of deals in an array of industry verticals, Dan is experienced on all sides of the transaction table, including spending nearly two decades advising prominent Midwest families, corporations, and private equity firms in respect to critical investment decisions. Dan’s career was rooted at an early age in his own family’s company which provided valuable experience in succession planning and navigating the sale of a family-owned company.
Prior to co-founding CTCP, Dan was the President and CEO of a large Midwest single family investment office responsible for direct investment in operating companies and real estate, corporate strategy planning, portfolio management, and wealth / estate advisory.
Previously Dan worked as the Global Head of Corporate Development and Special Projects for the Kohler family and Kohler Co. which is an $8.0 billion+ privately held, family managed diversified holding company.
Dan received his M.B.A. from UWM Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business and his B.S. in Finance and Economics from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.
