Ben joined Copper Truss in 2025 as General Counsel. Ben supports internal operations and is responsible for all compliance, risk management, and legal matters. Ben has broad experience representing private equity firms, strategic acquirers, founders, and other business owners in mergers and acquisitions, financings, other corporate transactions and other general legal matters. In addition to Ben’s work at Copper Truss, Ben supports Three Leaf Partners managing comparable responsibilities for Three Leaf’s real estate investment operations.

Prior to joining Copper Truss and Three Leaf Partners, Ben was an attorney in the Financial Services and Capital Markets group at Husch Blackwell LLP.

Ben received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and his B.A. in English Literature from the University of Northwestern—St. Paul.
